SRS - SUPPORTED RESIDENTIAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES

Supported residential services (SRS) are privately owned and operated businesses that provide accommodation for people who need support in everyday life, for example, people who are frail, aged or have a mental or physical disability.

Sandpiper Care supported residential services provides accommodation and daily support for those who require help with everyday living. This support can include assistance with daily meals or meals provided, help maintaining personal hygiene, community access and much more.

ILO - INDEPENDENT LIVING OPTIONS

Individual Living Options (ILO) are living arrangements that focus on the individual. They include Living Alone, Co-Residency, Host Arrangements and Living Together options. They are an alternative to group home services.

Sandpiper Care provides independent living options that focus on the individual. These options can include shared accomodation services and living alone services, all that allow the participant to live as independently as possible. Help that is provided includes services such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.

SIL - SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is help and/or supervision of daily tasks to help participants live as independently as possible, while building their skills. It is the paid personal supports and is most commonly used in shared living arrangements.

Sandpiper Care provides supported independent living options which allow participants to gain important life skills and live as independently as possible in a shared accomodation setting. Help that is provided includes services such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
